I, Librarian 4.4 released

Due to backwards incompatible changes by NIH NLM, this version of I, Librarian is required to connect to Pubmed and Pubmed Central databases from September 2016.

Reference Manager Enhancements

  • NIH NLM is switching all services to HTTPS-only access, therefore this version of I, Librarian must be used to continue connecting to PubMed and PubMed Central
  • folder structure to store PDF files and Supplementary files has changed to accommodate larger number of files

PDF Viewer Enhancements

  • PDF Viewer bookmark search performance was improved
  • PDF Viewer scrolling performance of large PDF files was improved

Bug fixes

  • a bug where BibTex key contained white space was fixed
  • some smaller bug fixes and performance issues were addressed
